We currently deliver to all 32 counties of Ireland only. We are currently not delivering to the UK mainland
Free Delivery of all orders over €80 (including Northern Ireland) Orders of less than €80 will incur a flat rate delivery charge of €14.
Yes, simply leave a note in the comments when ordering with your desired delivery date and we will try our best to accommodate your delivery day/time preference.
Our delivery partner DPD offer contact-free delivery and deliver in temperature controlled insulated boxes surrounded by ice gel packs - you can manage your delivery through their App - which includes being able to detail safe places to leave parcels and order tracking. If you live in Dublin we will deliver to you direct in our own fleet of refrigerated vans. All products will be vacuum sealed
Nationwide Deliveries All orders placed before 1 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, will be delivered the following day. All orders placed after 1.00 p.m. on Thursdays will be delivered on the following Tuesday, with the exception of bank holiday weekends. Please note in some remote parts of the country, delivery can take up to 2 days.
Please Note that although we do our best to adhere to the above delivery timetables, there may be some discrepancies during peak times. Please bear with us if we don’t manage to achieve our stated delivery timetable. Thank you for your continued custom, from all at Higgins Family Butchers.
Our policy is valid for a period of 1 calendar day from the date of the purchase. If you receive your order and are not satisfied for any reason you can return the product for a refund. If the period of 1 days has lapsed since the purchase, we can't, unfortunately, offer you a refund.
Refund Requirements The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:
- Product is defective
- Product is not as described
In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund. Perishable goods are completely exempt from being returned.
Proof of Purchase To complete your refund, we require a receipt, purchase order or other proof of purchase. Please note that without the aforementioned proof of purchase, we will not issue a refund but will provide you with a store credit instead.
Shipping Items In order to return an order, you must contact us first. Visit any of our retail locations to return your items purchased through our online store. Our staff member will process your return or exchange for you. You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.
